Finance, MIS & Strategy


CDC's Finance, MIS and Strategy service line focuses on supporting clients with financial management services, management information services, accounting systems, loan tracking system, business and strategic plan development. The service line further assists clients to present viable investment plans for securing financing, resolving working capital problems and deriving the best from their financing structure. Beneficiary clients of this service line are mainly financial institutions, microfinance institutions and agribusiness.

HR & Organizational Development

Human Resource and Organizational Development Service line supports clients to realize their business objectives through effective human resource management and organizational development strategies. Specific services offered under the service line include, organizational restructuring; Development of Effective Organizational Structures and Organograms; Revision of Job Descriptions, Change Management, Capacity Building and Training Services; recruitment management; Compensation Management; job evaluation and redundancy/staff rationalization management. Beneficiary clients are from both private and public sector organisations.

Risk Management

Our risk management service line supports clients to develop a proactive approach to ensuring that organizational objectives are achieved. It includes the design and implementation of corporate governance framework; internal controls framework; internal audit; assurance and compliance reviews. The service line focuses largely on financial institutions including microfinance businesses and commercial banks.

Research & Knowledge Management

Research and Knowledge Management service line serves as the engine of CDC Consult providing best practice in the various sectors we operate in. The service line provides clients with research, survey, evaluation and assessment services. Specific services include, industry studies and surveys; baseline studies; market and consumer research; impact assessment; monitoring and evaluation system designs and closeout evaluations. The service line has supported national baseline studies and impact assessment in areas such as microfinance, and financial literacy.

Entrepreneurship & SME Development

This service line recognizes the importance and significance of SMEs to the Ghanaian economy and the need to develop and use entrepreneurship. Working with SME owners, development partners, financial institutions, government agencies and other stakeholders, the service line provides: training in entrepreneurship on open house basis and under specific development initiatives; small business training in marketing, book keeping, pricing, costing and other productivity tools and general SME business development services.

Accounting & Payroll Bureau

The Accounting and Payroll Bureau provides outsourced services to clients in the area of accounting and payroll. In partnership with our cherish clients we take up these two important non core functions to enable them concentrate on core businesses. With a high level of integrity and confidentiality, clients receive unparallel services from the outsourcing team in the firm. The service line also manages relationship with regulatory bodies such as the internal revenue service; value added tax; social security and national insurance trust on behalf of clients.
