Ernest S. Dzandu
Managing Consultant


Ernest has over fifteen (15) years professional experience in the consulting practice with specific expertise in financial management; business development; project concept development and design, project management and quality assurance, backstopping and provision of technical expertise in various sector related projects.  

Ernest has managed and provided quality control expertise on projects in the following areas: management training design and delivery; microfinance regulation and supervision; baseline study on  rural and urban financial literacy; industry related research, consumer protection in the financial sector; risk management and implementation of internal control systems for microfinance institutions; technical assistance to microfinance institutions; financial Management, analysis and reporting; monitoring and evaluation; institutional diagnostics and assessments; management information systems; capacity building; organisational and human Resource development among others.  

Mr. Dzandu has managed projects for key development organizations and government institutions such as the International Finance Corporation /World Bank; UNDP; USAID; GIZ; DANIDA; SPEED Ghana; SNV: The Netherlands Development Organization and Ministry of Finance & Economic Planning. Private and Non Governmental Organizations  include Newmont Ghana Gold Limited; Millicom Ghana Limited; Innovation for Poverty Actions (IPA); Plan Ghana and Mariestopes Ghana . Ernest has an MBA in Finance and Accounting; a BSc in Accounting and is a Chartered Accountant. He is a Certified Entrepreneurship Teacher and an IFC Business Edge Trainer.
Gordon S. Agezo
Consultant


Gordon has over seven (7) years practical consulting experience. He has specific expertise in project management and provision of technical expertise in finance, risk management, microfinance, business planning, management information systems and SME Development related projects. 

Gordon has implemented  projects in the areas of Establishment of Internal Control Systems for Microfinance Institutions, Technical Assistance and Capacity Building for Microfinance Institutions, Compliance Review, Business and Strategic Corporate Planning, Implementation of Management Information Systems for Microfinance Institutions.    

Gordon is a member of the ACCA and is studying for an MBA Finance He also has a degree in Nutrition and Food Science.   

John Adraki
Consultant


 

Mr. Adraki has over ten (10) years post qualification professional experience. His specific expertise is in managing projects in the areas of SME Development; Research; Business Development; Development Planning and Management and Strategic Planning. 

John has conducted various surveys including programme completion evaluations, baseline surveys, feasibility studies and market research. He provided research expertise on several research assignments in areas such as the design of questionnaires and field management. John has also provided training support and SME development expertise on projects including Business to Business (B2B) Encounters matching SMEs to big businesses to facilitate growth and expansion of the SMEs.
John has previously worked with the Association of Ghanaian Industries (AGI). He has an MSc. In Development Planning and Management; Pg.Dip Regional Planning and Management; BSc. (Hons) Planning.

Akosua Aboagyewaa Darkwa
Consultant


Akosua has ten (10) years post degree work experience, five (5) of which have been spent in the consulting practice. She has built expertise in implementing projects in the following areas: SME Development and Capacity Building, Research/Surveys and Training.  
Akosua is an experienced small business trainer and counselor and has conducted several training in records management, marketing, client relationship management and related areas. She has coordinated field work on nationwide surveys in rural financial literacy survey and research into low income private schools in Ghana. She has experience in Consumer Protection in the microfinance sector and has managed the organization of a B2B event aimed at matching SMEs to big businesses to facilitate SME development under the Ahafo Linkages Program, an IFC/Newmont Ghana assignment. She has also undertaken Capacity Building for member SMEs of the Ahafo Local Business Association.

Akosua has completed a course work in MBA Project Management and has a B.A Social Sciences degree. She is an IFC Business Edge Trainer.
Stella Myers
Consultant

 

Stella is a Consultant with expertise in Financial Management and Microfinance related Management Information Systems (MIS). She has worked in the areas of implementation of management information systems for Microfinance Institutions; business plan development and research.  

Stella has developed training materials and manuals in risk management, internal controls, financial management, book keeping, accounting and other finance and business management related areas for MFIs and SMEs. She has also provided hands-on support to participants during training sessions. In addition she has provided support in data collection and analysis on several research assignments.

Stella has a BSc. Business Administration (Accounting Option) and is writing examination for ACCA.
Kevin Oduro Nyarko
Consultant


Kelvin is a Consultant with expertise in Accounting and Financial Management. His specific expertise relates to Capacity Building of Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) and SMEs in Risk Management, Development and Implementation of Internal Control Mechanisms, Financial Management, Accounting, Book Keeping and general Business Management areas. 

Kelvin has provided financial expertise and training support on assignments such as Impact Study of Credit Unions; Rural Financial Literacy Survey; Financial Management Training; Use of SEEP FRAME for monitoring the financial performance of Microfinance Institutions; Risk Management; Implementation of Internal Control Systems for Microfinance Institutions and Implementation of Management Information Systems for Microfinance Institutions.

Kelvin has a Masters Degree in Agribusiness and B.A Economics and Sociology. He is writing his professional exams in ACCA.
Akorfa Dzandu
Client Relationship Manager

 

Akorfa is the Client Relationship Manager of CDC Consult and is in Charge of the firm’s financial management and administrative issues. In the area of consultancy and advisory service, she has built expertise in financial management and assurance services. She has specific expertise in Outsourced Payroll and Accounting Bureau Management. 

Akorfa also manages the firm’s outsourced payroll and accountancy portfolio. She has previously worked with Deloitte and Touche in Ghana.  Akorfa has a Bachelor’s degree in Information Studies and Economics; ACCA Level II and is studying for an MBA degree in Finance.
